Orchids

I have an orchid in a pot which I have had for some time. However my daughter over watered it once when Iwas away and it almost died. All that is left is one big leaf. No stalk for flowers as that died and went brown so I cut it off.
Is it worth keeping?

Orchids

After an orchid has finished flowering, you usually cut it down to just above the lowest leaf node on the stem. If you have no stem, it may not be worth saving. But I'm not an expert. Perhaps Treehugger will see this.
