Collared doves

Our pair have now been back for a couple of weeks. Maybe more ....

Do make me laugh, zoom in together and then sit on roof of bird table for an age before actually eating.

Love the fact they are so "together" - got to smile.Never see them apart until nesting even then once brood has fledged back together in a nano second. You can learn quite a bit from other species I feel !!

Collared doves

Your post made me check and today I saw our pair for the first time as well.

Also saw a pair of goldfinches in amongst all the other small birds too.

Collared Doves

We also have a pair that visit most days. I feed a pair of Pheasants (Fred & Freda) and the Doves join in some times to pick up the seeds from the ground that they leave behind.
