My Garden has

turned into what i can say is a Butlins camp ground.
Gave up completely on the idea of growing veg.

Thursday little one was off school as he has cut his eyebrow & has stitches so we went shopping.

Got a swimming pool ( one of those large blow up ones). A 3 in one set, (tennis/volleyball/basket ball)
a few other ball games, football, baseball.(all soft toys so no broken windows)
Also a swing/slide.
Yesterday it was to hot & kids plus their friends didn't have any shade so put up the tent, for them to play in.
Then set up a table in the only shade spot for their water & fruit.

Husband came home & said i am mad.

One good point is, there is not much room left for the grass to grow.

my garden is...

starting to resemble a desert...already the grass is turning to straw, have wilted established shrubs, and dying vegetables that were just recovering from frost damage???!!!!

how amazingly peculiar is the uk weather..only 4 days ago I had the heating on.

ps...can i ship next door lovely little darlings to your garden? the noisy little buggers - was gonna say a rude word hahahaha - their shouting and screaming is drowning out the lovely birdsong. oh to be young again full of the innocence of youth

I don't have one..

garden that is. I have my herb pots though and they are more than enough! Listening to the local children playing out in our back lane earlier - love hearing their laughter and don't even mind the "please can I have my ball back" when it comes over the wall but there is one child who just seems so unhappy - constantly. His elder brother doesn't share his unhappiness but he does get exasperated at younger one's constant whining - he's not alone!!
