Water Divining

Found out today that I can do this !!!!!
Amazing, started off as a joke with OH with two bits of wire I took out of an old Umbrella type cake cover, he bent the ends over and we just held them very gently and walked round. We have a well so we knew where the water was but walking round the garden we found another source when the wires crossed completely over one another..
I am really impressed !!!

Water Divining.

We were driving in the country a couple of years ago & saw a Water Board worker doing what you describe, & being nosey, my OH stopped to ask him what he was doing, & he explained. Even showed me how to do it. Like you, I was most impressed.

You can also divine other things

A friend of mine (who lives in the States) uses divining rods to find old cemeteries and yes, it's worked every time and the cemeteries she's found don't seem to have a high water content. She reckons that you have to "think" what you want to find - no idea how or why it works for either water or old grave yards!!

Water Divining

A man who looks after a private water supply showed my OH how to do it - using an old wire coat hanger which had been unbended....find it fascinating. I've bought a metal detector and will be trying it out in the garden, with good results I hope!!!

Dowsing

This is so spooky.... as per earlier in this thread I said we had found out about water divining (or dowsing), purely by a fluke and having a laugh.
Well, we looked into it on Google and watched a variety of YouTube videos.

Well last night,(and this is the spooky bit), not much on tele and I was flicking through the channels and stopped on QVC, (again not our normal viewing)... What should be on but a book, crystal and divining rod set, by Uri Geller !!!!!

Just *HAD* to order it!!!!
2nd spooky coincidence that has happened to me this week !!!
