Anyone else surveying their garden after the thaw and wondering what has survived ?
Mine is not a prety sight ! Trying to be positve in that maybe a good time to ring the changes.
Reasons to be cheerful- daffs.now in bud and my lovely "Winchester Cathedral" roses are stil flowering.

The damage

Know what you mean Sandra. I was amazed and impressed to see mole hills erupting through the snow and frozen ground..

The weeds and grasses are thriving but we have some strong looking hyacinths poking through the ground (their 3rd year) and some tubs with daffodils and tulips just showing. The ground here is still too wet to do very much. The grass, can't call it a lawn, really needs a trim already.

Damage

Same here Biggs. Although I'm itching to get out there the ground is just too wet. I'd do more harm than good !
Have decided to just put up with it and get stuck in once back from holiday.
