Hi I am looking for a good home made coating for potato wedges with no salt.I have looked in the shops but contain all sorts of stuff we cant have ie sugar,salt,lactose.Any ideas would be great.Kind Regards Mary.

You can add a pinch of whatever you like to the dish, I use garlic granules sometimes, cayanne pepper sometimes, whatever we feel like.Really tasty, and low fat too.x
I do twice baked herby chips....Coat wedges in oil, paprika and thyme leaves. The recipe does say salt & pepper, just leave out the salt...
I make these quite often and vary the coating. I use oil and dried mixed herbs, or oil, rosemary and garlic. Just experiment with the flavours you like most. No need for salt if the potatoes are a good variety with nice flavour. I am using Orla and Sante at the moment, both really nice. x
