Birds - Lack of

For more than over a week now things have been very quiet around our bird feeder. I've put out nuts/seeds but they haven't been touched. Maybe its because berries etc are very plentiful at the moment but I do miss watching them from the kitchen window. Anyone else experiencing the same. Maybe they've all flown to Noreen's for her chafer bugs!!

When I saw the title of this post, that is exactly what I was going to rely, yes they are all here having a lovely feast!

Or maybe they've flown over this way - we have lots!!

But then you probably don't get white cockatoos and parrots, which are very prevalent here at the moment!!! (laughing smiley)

Hi Noreen - hope my birds are helping you out in getting rid of the bugs in your lawn but tell them to come back real soon!! Love to see a few colourful Parrots flying around SonyaK but don't think they would last long here at the moment with our awful weather. Perhaps that is why my birds are grounded. Even my cheeky Robin doesn't seem to be around.

Birds

We have plenty of blackbirds and a couple of Robins Dottie, they are eating all the fallen apples from the Bramley tree. We've a very tame Blackbird who comes in the house, bit foolhardy with the cat around !! We even saw a Hawfinch just the other day, a first for us both.

Hope yours return real soon x
