Wild Garlic

My friend has been digging up Wild Garlic in her garden and has given me quite a few plants complete with flowers and bulbs. Would you plant these out as they are in a patch where I have Bluebells or into a large pot and let the flowers/leaves die down like you do with Daffodils?

Woodland Plants

Plant them out with your bluebells! they are a woodland plant and will spread themselves about with the bluebells and any other woodland plants that you have. Make sure that they are not in direct sun all day as they like a bit of damp shade for part of the time. They won't need feeding as long as you make sure that you mulch in the autumn or spring with a nice leaf mould or garden compost.

Wild Garlic

Think carefully before you add garlic to the garden, it can become a weed and difficult to control if it is happy!

Wild Garlic

Many thanks Welshcookie for your advice - I don't think they will run away where I've put them. It is in an area that is left a bit wild with the Bluebells but will keep my eye on them.
