We know many of you are keen on gardening, so here's your latest plot: dug over, weed free and ready to sow the seeds of new ideas...
Today is the first day I've been able to walk around the garden for weeks due to the wet weather. Sun has shone all day and birds singing. Loads of Daffs beginning to sprout and new buds appearing on Clematis etc. Hope Jack Frost isn't around the corner!!
For some weeks now, I've enjoyed the lovely jewel-like pinkish buds on our azalea. Just a hopeful sign that Spring's on its way.
The weather has been good today so I spent the afternoon gathering up the last of the fallen leaves. Filled up 2 big garden bags. I hope I don't regret it tomorrow. The grass is a lovely shade of green and the borders look tidy. A few bulbs coming through and some clumps of primroses and some little violets showing their faces, and the birds were singing. All in all a good afternoons work. I almost got the lawnmower out but thought better of it, don't want the neighbours to think I've gone mad.
