We know many of you are keen on gardening, so here's your latest plot: dug over, weed free and ready to sow the seeds of new ideas...

Rocket

Every year we grow wild rocket. But I'd no idea that it can overwinter. We left some in and it has come through the winter quite happily. Has anyone else found this? It's strong in flavour and obviously tougher. Anyone else grow it?

Oh, I seeeee, so it's not overwintering, just new plants growing, bit like parsley does... I'm overrun with parsley !

All is well with us Gerry. 3 days before the estimated arrival of Cherub. Hope you and Tony are still enjoying life in your lovely little retreat in Devon.

Mine were both 10 days "late". Heard (especially) 1st-borns often are.
Rocket: certain it self-seeds, not over-winters. My chervil self-seeds too.

I was 10 days early with Angel and 3 weeks early with her brother and so I did wonder if she might be early, but it's so close now, I think she could trot on for a while longer.
