Help! Hot & Sour prawns

Hi,
Yesterday I made hot & sour prawns which I will use as my Easter Sunday Lunch starter. I have 12 for lunch so I tripled the recipe, unfortunately I think my Maths has let me down.
I checked the prawns this morning and they are covered in an unappetising congealed yellow mass. Did I use too much olive oil? I don't have time to start again. Is there anyway to save this or should I scrap the first course?
Please help!
Kind regards,
Rachel

Congealed mess!

I think the congealed mess might just be the olive oil having solidified in the fridge - I know this has happened to mine in the past. Just take it out of the fridge for 30 mins or so and you'll see the difference when it comes to room temperature.
