Chocolate Cake for 9" tin

Hi Lindsey. I have just made Delia's Preserved Ginger Cake for my son which travelled quite happily to Geneva in a 9" foil tray (with lid)

I used the foil tray to cook it in so it would travel and he was thrilled with the result.

He has asked if I could do a similar cake for his next visit, but chocolate. I have trawled through Delia's books, but cannot find anything that looks suitable for cooking in this size tray. Any suggestions or could I adapt the ginger cake?
