Improving moistness of fruit loaf

I've got a really nice apricot and fruit loaf but it does tend to be a little on the dry side. What's the best way to make it more moist and are there any added ingredients that will help?

For Country Baker

Hello Country Baker,

Perhaps soak the fruit as we do in this recipe

http://www.deliaonline.com/recipes/cuisine/european/english/very-fruity-irish-tea-cake.html

or add apple like this one….

Or you could add crushed pineapple like Honey does in this one….

Best wishes
