QUICK FLAKY PASTRY

Hello Lindsey,
I made the quick flaky pastry as indicated in the Cookery School video and it was lovely. Would you advise using it for quiches? I certainly prefer it to shortcrust pastry but am concernes the base would be soggy. Many thanks in advance for your help.

Quick Flaky Pastry

Hello Rasdora,

We are really pleased you like it. We don’t use it to line tarts but we do use it for galettes, pastry topped meat or fish pies and Millefeuille.

quick flaky pastry ideas

Those caramelised mincemeat ravioli sound really lovely . They would make a nice change from the usual mincepies at Christmas . I might try them out soon, one more way of using up Delia's mincemeat.
