what do coeliacs do for sauce flour

Hello,

If someone has coeliac/celiac disease, what is the best gluten free flour to use for sauces?

Cornflour? Tapioca starch? Rice flour?

Thanks! Nate

Sauce flour for Coeliacs

Hello Nate,

I tend to use either gluten free plain flour (which is a bend of rice, potato, tapioca, maize and buckwheat) or cornflour as I have both in them in the cupboard and I’m more likely to use them before the use-buy date.

I have not tried all the alternatives side-by-side and compared the results.

Best wishes

Lindsey
