Lactose Intolerant

When making pastry for someone who is lactose intolerant, as in say Delia's traditional apple pie. Is it best to stick with 100 percent block margarine or would a 50 percent lard and margarine, or some other combination produce a better pastry.

Hello kah22,

You can use either but I would do a combination of lactose free margarine and lard.
