Reheating Cooked Rice.

I saw a TV programme that said it was not safe to reheat cooked rice as it can cause food poisoning!
I often cook a large quantity of risotto and freeze some for a later date, then reheat when needed. Is this safe?

Reheating Cooked Rice

Hello Saddler,

It is true that that rice can cause food poisoning. However there are government guidelines on serving rice safely. I hope these links will help answer your question
