I've just bought 6 large chicken breasts from a butcher not local to me (en-route home from visiting). They were to make cheese stuffed breasts wrapped in bacon on Saturday (today is Thursday). However, on unwrapping them they have started to faintly smell so I know they won't last. Do you think I could lightly poach them tonight and, when cooked, keep til Saturday and then stuff and wrap them, then bake for just 15 minutes instead of usual 30 minutes. Otherwise I will just make casserole or curry with them and freeze, then buy some fresh breasts tomorrow!
