Coconut Powder

Hello ym,

No, coconut flour is not a substitute that will work. Coconut powder is dehydrated coconut milk and coconut flour is the dried, ground flesh (or meat) of the coconut.

You can get coconut powder from many Asian and Oriental supermarkets or it is available on line from
http://www.countryproducts.co.uk/product.php?productid=17200&;cat=0&page=1

And if you get some another great recipe that you can make is this one….

Best wishes

Yay!

Thanks for this information. I just registered as a member because I need to find where to buy this elusive ingredient. No Asian supermarkets nearby, so will check out the mail order line!

Coconut Flour

Hello ym,

We don’t have anything here on the site (although some of our members may have something and let us know). If you Google coconut flour recipes I’m sure lots of ideas will come up.

Best wishes

Lindsey
