NEW FAN OVEN-HELP

I am the owner of a new all singing all dancing fan oven.
However, cakes recipes have thrown me. Recipes which
came with the oven are larger than the tins I already possess.
So, how do I downsize and readjust timing with never used
before fan oven?????? Any and all advice most welcome.

Well, I'd continue to use my old recipes in the same sized tins and reduce the temperature of my oven by 20°C. There is a conversation chart on this site that you might find useful.

If you really want to try the new recipes, then I would say you will need to buy larger tins (20 cm and 23 cm are the most useful) and take their cooking temperature advice and they should be fine. I believe Delia recommends some excellent cake tins (I've not tried them yet) or Lakeland are also pretty good if you get them in the sale.

Good luck and happy baking with your new oven.
