Egg Sizes

What is the VOLUME of eggs used in cooking? I keep bantam hens which lay delicious but very small eggs. I would like to know approx. how many mls or ozs in a standard or large egg, so that I can use the correct amount in recipes. Thanks.

I have lifted the following straight from a website if you Google, 'volume of eggs.'
1 large egg = 1/4 cup (4 tablespoons) = 2 ounces = 55 grams.

So you just need to beat your bantam eggs and then pour them into a measure until you have the right volume for the recipe. Or weigh the correct amount.
