Apple muffins

Good evening.
I've tried to make apple muffins today. On the whole they are quite tasty, but the only problem is that they are very wet inside. I suppose it's so because of juicy apples. Could you tell me what I shall do to prevent the muffins from being wet?

Apple muffins

Hello Katharina,

Perhaps you had extra juicy apples.

What I would suggest is that you coarsely grate the apples onto a plate (before you sieve your flour into the egg mixture) and when you come to add the apple, if there is a pool of juice on the plate, gather the grated apple up in your fingers (without squeezing them) and add it to the muffin mixture, leaving any excess juice out of the mix.
