Hello

My daughter has asked me to make the Creole Christmas cake for her wedding. I have made it as an 8inch cake for more Christmas's that I care to remember, but need to make it as a 10inch round cake for the wedding and need to know how scale up the ingredients

Scaling up fruit cake ingredients

I think it would be one and a half times the recipe but I haven’t tested this.

A way of checking is to fill your 8 inch tin with water to approximately 3 inches deep then do the same with your 10 inch tin to approximately 3 and a half inches deep to calculate with more precision.
