Good Morning Lindsey

I can only buy Demerara and ordinary granulated sugar although a bit finer but not as fine as caster sugar. When a recipe calls for soft brown sugar which one is the best to use the white or the Demerara? I have tried making Demerara fine by blitzing it but is not always successful.

Hello Wendy,

As you cannot get soft brown sugar I would probably choose the white sugar.
