while thinking about it, i have another question regarding salt.

Having been advised to reduce salt in my OH diet.

I am wondering what type of salt is best?

I have the remnants of table salt in a shaker, which my OH loves on his roast tatties. I have maldon sea salt, which i use as salt in cooking, ie, rubbed over a pork joint or added to spag bol etc, I also have a tube of rock salt in the cupboard.

do different salts add differences to type of cooking? when delia says add a pinch of salt - what type do you think she means? or what would you suggest?

Hello Again,
Delia uses Maldon Salt flakes at home.
But don’t use too much bacon if your following a low salt diet.
