Angostura bitters

Haven't a clue what galangal is, or need to know what to use if you can't buy creme fraiche locally? We're sure our knowledgeable members will be able to point you in the right direction...

Angostura bitters

Hello, I'm trying to make Delai's Creole Christmas cake, and there's this ingrediant called angostura bitters that I can't find anywhere. Does anyone know whether the cake can do without it or if you can use something else instead? Many thanks Simmie

Angostura

You're in the UK, it must be available in any supermarket or off licence I'd have thought. Have you asked in shops?

Angostura bitters

Tesco definietly sell it, in the booze aisle where they sell gin, cinzano, vermouth, etc, its usually on top shelf its a tiny bottle - like a worcestershire sauce size, with white paper around the bottle.
