Haven't a clue what galangal is, or need to know what to use if you can't buy creme fraiche locally? We're sure our knowledgeable members will be able to point you in the right direction...
i've seen in a lot of delia's recipes that they call for dark gilled mushrooms....am wondering is there one type that is better or more preferable than another???? thanks for the kind assist!!!!!
Portobello and chestnut mushrooms have dark gills; must be loads of others.
Puff Balls, and Chicken of the Woods aren't the same thing.
It's a bit late for field mushrooms, so if anyone is thinking about foraging triple check before eating!
