Haven't a clue what galangal is, or need to know what to use if you can't buy creme fraiche locally? We're sure our knowledgeable members will be able to point you in the right direction...
In a chutney recipe cider vinegar is used and I'm assuming this is apple cider vinegar .....if I can't get hold of this what substitute could I use? any ideas...thank you
wine vinegar, red or white depending on your chutney; at least, that's what I'd use.
