pastry cakes

Haven't a clue what galangal is, or need to know what to use if you can't buy creme fraiche locally? We're sure our knowledgeable members will be able to point you in the right direction...

pastry cakes

I used to buy the small pastry cases to make tarts that were ideal for one. However now Jus Rol no longer produce them. Has anyone found anywhere else that make small pastry cases. I do make my own pastry but having ready made ones was a great stock cupboard item.
Thanks

Joan

pastry cases

If you're good at making pastry why not freeze them. You could freeze cooked or uncooked, just line the tart tins with the raw pastry and open freeze, then store in plastic boxes then bake when needed.
