Rhubarb

Well - darn it - that answers my problem - my rhubarb seems to have died over the severe winter we have had - I was just wondering over the last few days if it shouldn't be showing signs of coming through by now - & if yours is that far advanced Sam _ think that confirms that mine has given up the ghost! - A visit to the garden centre would seem to be needed!

Sprouting Rhubarb

Christine, don't give up just yet with your rhubarb, I see Sam comes from Worthing so the temperature would be a bit warmer than Lancashire. My rhubarb is just starting to sprout and I live a wee bit further south than Sam - so maybe it has to do with the strain??

Sprouting rhubarb

Hi Christine, glad your pink stuff has sprouted, mine is about 6ins tall now so it shouldn't be long before I have enough to cook - and I still have some left over from last season in the freeezer!!
