vanille extract with seeds

I downloaded Delias recipe for Low fat carrot cake some time ago. At the bottom of the page was a link to buy vanills extract.
When I had used it all I (stupidly) threw away the bottle.
Now I do not know what the make was and all of the shops only sell the thin runny extract in large bottles.
The oneI want is a small bottle , only about 3 inches high, the lquid is very thick and has seeds.

Any ideas where I can get it?

Vanilla

Hi Jeanette, I think you are looking for vanilla bean paste which I usually get from Waitrose (it's about £4 a jar).

home-made vanilla

Squash a vanilla pod into a small glass spice jar, cover with vodka and wait a couple of weeks, keeps permanently.
