Haven't a clue what galangal is, or need to know what to use if you can't buy creme fraiche locally? We're sure our knowledgeable members will be able to point you in the right direction...
Just going to try a new stir fry recipe but it calls for rice wine vinegar, which I haven't got. Can I substitute some other vinegar or even sherry?
I think many recipes suggest substituting dry sherry for rice wine vinegar.Kilmory
