Haven't a clue what galangal is, or need to know what to use if you can't buy creme fraiche locally? We're sure our knowledgeable members will be able to point you in the right direction...
I noticed recently that the bag of sweetcorn in my freezer says I must not eat it uncooked. Why? Does anyone know?I've Googled but everyone on there says it's ok to eat it raw.
NB, have eaten it raw only when freshly picked as it's delicious then. Are they being over-cautious?
I cannot imagine what problem there could be, especially as it must have been blanched prior to freezing. I've used it many times without reheating and I am still here!
