Frozen Broad Beans

Haven't a clue what galangal is, or need to know what to use if you can't buy creme fraiche locally? We're sure our knowledgeable members will be able to point you in the right direction...

Frozen Broad Beans

Are supermarkets phasing out frozen broad beans? I am finding them more and more difficult to find. They are so useful and the freezing process doesn't seem to harm broad beans so they are a great ingredient.

I fear that the supermarkets/food companies just want us to buy their frozen soya beans. They are not what I want and of course more expensive.

Any suggestions on reliable supplies gratefully received.

Frozen broad beans

I buy them in waitrose regularly, haven't noticed any problems with supply.

I use them for a pancetta, pea and broad bean risotto from a waitrose recipe card, it's my son's favourite meal!
