Lurpak slightly salted

Haven't a clue what galangal is, or need to know what to use if you can't buy creme fraiche locally? We're sure our knowledgeable members will be able to point you in the right direction...

When using spreadable butter in delias cakes, is it lurpak slightly salted?

I believe that Delia said in "
1 that the purpose of the spreadable was to help it incorporate more easily? What I do is to mic a mug of water and place normal butter on a saucer over it, to soften. For a larger amount I just mic the butter - but can go very wrong and be liquid.

There is a peculiarity about salt. A very small amount of salt can make sweet taste sweeter (e.g. strawberries, fresh filter coffee). Totally counter-intuitive. Perhaps Delia or one of her team could comment?
