I want to roast a ham but can't find uncooked ham to buy, only gammonAre the two interchangeable? Or where can I buy uncooked ham? Many thanksSarah
They're more or less interchangeable. Most people would agree that they are just different cuts of cured meat, but there's also a theory that ham is cured after being cut from the pig, and gammon before. Either way, treat both the same - soaking, boiling, then glazing, if that's your plan :)
