Delia's Cakes

I wonder if anyone else has had any difficulty reading the ingredient lists in "Delia's Cakes". The recipes are wonderful but I find that the pale colour used for the ingredient-lists are difficult to see clearly in anything other than full daylight. Baking instructions are easier to read because of the darker print.

I have the same problem, especially on "My Favourite Delia Online Recipes" section where I find the pale blue titles of the recipes very difficult to read. This subject has been raised before but I don't believe everyone has the same problem so thought it was due to my ageing eyesight! I even find the pale blue print on the Home page difficult to read.

I think Tajb means Delia's new book. The Cakes Book. We really do love it here. We haven't had any problems with the colouring. My sight is good though. Also no problem with the pale blue on the website. It could be that the brightness or contrast needs adjusting on your machine. My son adjusted mine when I first set up the computer as all the writing on various websites did seem a little washed out when I got a new laptop - All fine now.

I sometimes have problems.

I'm pushing fifty and sometimes have trouble with the color of the lettering in the ingredients section of the cake book. I'd prefer black lettering, but I can see the greenish letters.
