Watched 'Gravity' on friday night, what a wow film. Do See it at the cinema.

Beyonce on Saturday at the O2...just brilliant, and loadsa fun with friends, danced the night away, fantastic experience and concert!

Sunday we were at Wembley to support Man City (my team) in the League cup. It was the most amazing atmosphere I have ever experienced at a football match! great game, both teams played their socks off! But We Won.....the blue moon is rising!

The 'battle of the oranges' in italy looked like a good fruit flinger thou!!

What is or was your perfect or nearly weekend and why?! : )

Perfect Weekend

My weekend was made special by having my husband home after spending two weeks in hospital. He hadn't been well since Christmas but after various tests it was found he had a blockage in his kidney. He's had a stent fitted and will shortly have further out patient treatment to shatter the stone. If that doesn't work then he will have an op to remove it surgically. I've also enjoyed catching up on the latest contributions on here.

A nearly perfect weekend

In similar vein, for me it was finally being discharged from hospital on Sunday after major surgery & coming home to my family & a home cooked rib of beef!

The hospital soup was good (seemed to be James Martin's recipes) but the mains were shockingly bad. It was a good job I wasn't very hungry - but after 7 days in hospital I have lost half a stone, & although some was from the bit of me they removed, the rest from quite poor standards of catering.... As an example, I have to say that I have never before experienced chicken korma containing mushrooms, that looked like baby sick & tasted of nothing. You had to be there. The health care was exceptional, but the food was really dreadful!

Perfect weekend

Sorry to hear your hubby has been ill Dottie. Hope he's well on the road to recovery now.

Too busy redecorating and getting the garden straight at the moment to be able to concentrate on fun stuff, but my fantasy weekend would involve a long walk on a sunny day with hubby and Sonny (my profile pic), a lay down on a sun lounger with a cold glass of beer, a swim and a snorkel on a beautiful coral reef, a stroll around a little Greek town before venturing into a lovely taverna for a typical Greek dinner, followed by a leisurely walk back to our hotel. Sunday, would be a repeat of Saturday :)

Oops - bad Mum

I'd better include the girls in this...... a family roast on Sunday evening with a roaring fire in the woodburner on a cold wintry day.

Perfect Weekend

I would love to be invited to friends for the weekend and not have to think about any food shopping or cooking. Any offers?
