Jobs worth paying for!

Just before Christmas I had my double ovens cleaned professionally and was delighted with the results, a bargain at £50. Yesterday I had my car valeted by a charming Swiss chap who came to the house and spent over 3 hours just on the interior and charged £35. He did a fantastic job and I'm no longer thinking of getting a newer model.

What jobs you could do yourself, but hate, would you pay someone else to do?

Jobs worth paying for!

The ones you have already mentioned I've had done. Other jobs I pay for are monthly cleaning windows, weekly tidying in the garden, fortnightly house cleaning.

jobs worth paying for!

I would like someone to clean my venetian blinds in the kitchen especially the ones over the sink.
They are my worst nightmare.

85 quid...that's 2 flights to Rome for a mini break and a great experience! Forget cleaning.... I can clean an oven and a car for frree with elbow grease and a mini dyson!.....

I too had my double oven cleaned just after Christmas - £40! Well pleased. I also have my windows cleaned outside regularly and I have a cleaner once a week. If I could do these jobs, I would but health doesn't permit.
Take note Maggie; some of us are unable to do some tasks. Long may you be able to do yours!

Gotcha Maggie. Sorry.

I do willingly pay

for a window cleaner to do the outside windows as we live in a town house. Other than that, I'm with Maggie. If you can do it, then do it yourself and have a good holiday instead. Cinnamon

Jobs worth paying for....

We have always been DIY people... we have never paid for jobs to be done. However, recently we have been known to pull into one of these hand wash car washes and let them do it while we go round the garden centre. I'm also tempted to have my ovens cleaned. I have an Aga and a summer oven and I'd like them both done... I wonder if I'd get discount for two ;-)

Jobs

Our window cleaner has a water-fed pole system using pure water from a tank in his van. Brilliant!
