Out of Date Mixers

I've been getting Christmas decorations out of the Garage and noticed two large bottles each of American Dry Ginger and Tonic Water. They are stamped best before November 2012. I shook one of the bottles and it still fizzed. Should I discard them?

Out of date ...

I agree! It probably says best before rather than use by anyway. I'd drink them :)

Many thanks girls for your comments. I'll hang on to them for the festivities on the way.

Mixers

I would hedge my bets and buy some for this Christmas, but not in large bottles; I think you should stick with the best brand you can get in small tins or bottles.
The out of date ones may taste a little tired.

I had thought along the same lines as you Welsh Cookie - many thanks all the same for your comments.
