A friend brought me over some suet last week, so thought i would make a start on christmas.

I have used Delia's mincemeat for many years with no problems.

This time my mixture is not swimming in fat.
It has been in the oven for 2 hours just went to check, & it is looking quite dry.

Any ideas? shall i leave it in for the full time or take it out.

Never had a problem before
