freezing crab meat

I bought a huge crab at the weekend and used some of meat to make linguine with crab, chilli and rocket - very nice! The crab was so big I got tons of meat from it so have frozen the white meat and also the remaining brown meat - separate to the white meat. I've frozen white crabmeat before very successfully but haven't tried with brown - does anyone know if it works?
