leftover gammon

I cooked a 2kg piece of gammon in the week, simmered then roasted.

still have a lot left over, and we are a bit hammed out now.

is it a suitable meat that i can slice and wrap in parchment and then freeze - for sandwiches or chicken and ham pies or pea and ham soup?

i have sliced pot roast beef before for sandwiches, was wondering if ham was suitable.

leftover gammon

For years I made a fortnight's sarnies at a time and froze them. Ham was fine. Defrosted in my pocket on my way to work.

Freezing Ham

Both slices and lumps of ham freeze well.
