We have people staying but the weather is so miserable I don't think we'll be doing much summery eating! I am thinking of fishcakes tonight, Chicken Basque tomorrow (which I know is in Summer but we have it all year round) and lasagne on Sunday - all comfort food!

tonight, massive meat lasagna, with salad, garlic bread and tiramasu, is tonights meal.

saturday, will be various marinated chicken kebabs and lamb koftas and home made burgers, with pot salad and coleslaw salad and mixed rice or pasta veg salad, maybe a sausage or 2 (bbq)(even if it pours with rain) .

sunday, roast lamb.

monday, who knows, who cares, could be a massive dish of macaroni cheese - chill out day doing a lot of nothing.

So busy in the garden getting all the veg in and beds finalised after landscaping so easy-peasy food. Tonight, lemon sole and Jerseys with mangetout, Sat cottage pie and beans or veg, Sun filet steak, Jerseys and purple sprouting. Monday, whatever's left in the fridge.

Making Delias ragu to make a lasagne and stash some in the freezer for a midweek meal too . Also going to try the apple and cider cake from her Cakes book .

Weekend Cooking

Saturday, Steak and Salad with Slimming World Chips, Sunday Family coming so a large piece of Top Rump cooked on the BBQ with new pots, salad new pots and steamed veg. Monday Lasagne with Salad baked pots and Garlic bread.....overload of Beef there me thinks !! Hey Ho !!!
