Last of the lessons

Must say I have enjoyed watching Delia's cake lessons. The best certainly waited to be the last, the chocolate cake look really good. Shall make that when the family come down. Look forward to the summer when their are more recordings.

Cookery School

Thoroughly enjoyed all the videos so far - expertly presented and looking forward to the next series. I must admit, the chocolate cakes looked too rich for my taste but that's just me.

More lessons?

Will there be more lessons in the Cookery School? I do hope so.

Eggs :D

I think eggs are exciting! I had to avoid looking at the cakes stuff, cos I don't eat them - but bring on the eggs! I'm hoping we might see something about eggs other than yer basic hen's egg - duck, goose, turkey, quail - they're all good, and I think we should be more adventurous in our egg choices. Looking forward to these lessons!

Eggs

Well DG, I don't eat cakes either, but it doesn't stop me making them (and enjoy making them) for others.....much more exciting to share than enjoy them myself.
But Eggs !! I think these should have been a basic lesson tbh. i.e. at the beginning of the lessons.

Yummy, I agree with your comments. Will be interested in seeing what the lessons will contain though.

There's only me and my husband at home, dread to think what size he'd be if I made cakes for him, plus we can't really afford to buy ingredients for food that we're not going to eat! Seriously though, eggs are so versatile, there has to be a lot that Delia can say about them. Off to cook a couple of duck eggs for breakfast now!
