So Cold.

Luckily it is not too bad here now. Don't get me wrong, it's not exactly t-shirts and shorts weather but it's not bitter like it has been.

So cold

Well, I guess we've been lucky lately. Although there's a bitter Easterly blowing, we're free of snow and until today, we've had lovely sunshine for a few days.
No complaints here.
Postmen are the first to appear in their shorts for deliveries.

Cold weather

We have gone backwards here in SW France - dull and grey and freezing cold - just struggled into double figures today. We had 19 degrees a day or two ago. Spring is desperately trying to show its face - it can't come soon enough for me.

Buns

When you say buns for the kids do you mean 'fairy buns'? I have'nt heard that for ages, reminds me of home. Down here they say 'cup cakes'...give me a bun anyday! :)

Buns

Buns for me is something made with yeast, with fruit in, as in hot cross buns.

Cold and Buns

I like your thinking Sam. Trying to be good today, eaten enough to feed a small army this weekend and I have'nt done any marching, another big lunch tomorrow so I'll just talk and think buns!

Cold and Shorts

Two of our Postmen wear shorts all year round - doing it for charity so I believe. Lovely sunny start to today but still very cold. Still have snow on the surrounding hills/mountains but hope we don't have anymore lower down. Drat....must be getting warmer - a mole hill has appeared on the lawn so will have to make a 'phone call to our local "Mole Man" later on. We had to call him out earlier in March when he successfully caught one.

I'm warm!

I'm sitting by the side of the swimming pool in a rented house in Las Vegas, it's lovely! We've been attending our nephew's wedding and are spending the rest of our time with son and his family, loving every minute of it.
