Scaling up Xmas cake recipe

I realise I've asked this before but is there anyone out there who can tell me in very simple terms!!how much to increase the quantities to produce a 12 inch round cake of the same depth as the 11inch. For some odd reason, Delias chart only goes up to 11inches & I need to make a 3 tier wedding cake obviously of the same depths. Unfortunately, neither does the chart go as small as a 5 inch round otherwise I could use 5/8/11 inch tins. Thank you & HELP!!

Scaling ingredients

I've used this formula very successfully for ages now -
using your basic 8" round cake recipe
For a 5" multiply by 0.4
For a 12"
multiply by 2.25.
I found this information from this web site by Rita and scaling cake ingredients, sorry but for some reason my laptop cannot cut and paste...ggrrrr

Christmas Cake

Please see my answer on 'Can anyone Help' on 12 February. It gives a link to a scaling chart.
