Very strong bread flour

I bought this by mistake as I usually use strong bread flour.
I was recently given a Panasonic breadmaker and enjoy making bread in it. I like making my own bread but it is quite handy to go out or be getting on with something else while its making itself!
Do you think it is okay to use very strong bread flour in the machine for just normal white bread? What difference will it make?

Very strong bread flour

I'd say it was worth making one loaf from it, you may find it works perfectly well.
Not sure what else it would be used for tbh .
I got some Strong flour milled by the Maud Foster Mill in Boston, from Chuzzlewit's in Louth. made some scones tonight and they came out really well.
btw Linzechris, Meridian Meats butchers in Louth are now selling " Mr Huddas Curry pastes" That will be handy :)

Strong bread flour

I have made all of our bread with my Panasonic for the last 12 months. the stronger the flour the better the bread. I am about to experiment with fortifying weaker flour with 100% gluten. Will report back later. I use the basic recipe 1 99% of the time. The 'French bread' recipe is brilliant, tho'. Enjoy!

Thank you all for the replies. Will let you know how it goes once I've used it. I feel a bit more confident now!
Yummy, I have bought some Mr Huddas in Meridian meats before but if I'm not buying meat from there I dont like to go in just for the paste. I know that's silly really. Have you tried their steak? Expensive but excellent for a treat.
Lakings lamb is lovely too.
