Bored of moving!

Well we officially moved on the 14th December but couldn't move straight into our new house as there is some work to be done (like installing plumbing!) before we can do so. We've been staying with some friends who handily went to Australia for Christmas but they are back tomorrow so we have packed up again and are moving to another friend's who is away for most of January. Both friends so kind to help us out so massively but I am so bored of living out of a suitcase! And we seem to have so much stuff, all this packing and unpacking is exhausting. Turning up at work each day looking presentable is increasingly challenging! We are finally moving into the house at end of January and will be camping really for a few months as there is tons of work still to be done but it will be lovely to be under our own roof again.

Bored of moving

Hi,

Have to say i like packing up & moving, just hate un packing.

We moved 13 months ago and even though i threw out (gave away) lots of kitchen stuff, plus have a bigger kitchen still got 3 boxes of kitchen items in the basement. Still have the kitchen to re do, so the boxes can stay downstairs.

Not sure i like where we have moved, like the peace & quiet of the country side, but hate having to drive miles (km) to the shops.

Good luck with your new house.

Thanks Sue - how funny, I love the unpacking bit and putting it all in its new place! We will hopefully have a new kitchen in 4-5 months so I am really looking forward to that!
