And now for the leftovers

Once again the Delia method of cooking a turkey proved very successful. The remains are now simmering gently to make the turkey soup following the recipem from Delia's original Christmas book.

The turkey goes on and....

I made turkey, ham and leek flan last night from Delia's Christmas book(s) as I do every year. It's a great recipe, just don't know why I don't do it other times of the year with left over chicken.

Today it's turkey soup with lots of veg and rice, but I don't blitz it. There's enough turkey left for one more meal tomorrow and I'm going to make Nigel Slater's 'perky turkey' which he did on TV last week.

We've friends for lunch on Sunday which will definitely be free of fowl!
